On the 130th anniversary of cinema, we want to talk about how much it has evolved over the decades. Responding to the changing needs of viewers, the cinema screen is becoming an epic space with a broad approach to themes and length, while everyday film is increasingly reduced to reels, trailers, commercials and solitary contact with the screen. How does cinema as a place fit into this world? We will ask three experts about this: Urszula Biel, PhD - an expert in the history of Silesian cinemas and cinema manager, Prof. Andrzej Gwoźdź - a media and cinema history researcher, and Prof. Rafał Cekiera - a sociologist and cinema enthusiast.
