This year’s edition of the Silesian Science Festival Katowice is fast approaching! We continue to work hard to ensure that every aspect of the event is perfect. We would also like to invite you—the Festival participants—to co-create this unique event! In line with the theme of this year’s edition—’Dare to experiment!’—we have prepared an experiment survey, thanks to which every interested person will be able to contribute to the organisation process of the 9th ŚFN Katowice.
The upcoming, ninth edition of the Silesian Science Festival Katowice will take place on 6–8 December. We invite you once again to the International Congress Centre in Katowice, where we will spend three days rediscovering science!
The slogan of the upcoming edition of ŚFN Katowice is ‘Dare to experiment!’. This bold invitation contains many meanings, which were discussed by Prof. Ryszard Koziołek, Rector of the University of Silesia and Programme Director of the Silesian Science Festival Katowice. An experiment is, above all, the implementation of curiosity—the most important feature we as humanity possess, which is responsible for our willingness to try new solutions. Thanks to experiments, we are able to find answers to the mysteries of the world, we get to know ourselves better, and influence the reality around us.
