The topic of the lecture will be the issue of natural radioactivity in the environment, which we come into contact with every day, regardless of where we are on the globe. What is radioactivity and where does it come from? What effect does it have on our body? How can we measure it even though it is invisible? How is our environment monitored for radioactivity? We will try to answer these and other questions during the lecture. Maybe we will be able to hear natural radioactivity?
