Swoboda twórcza to jedno z najważniejszych wolności człowieka gwarantowanych w Konstytucji RP. W dobie kultury remiksu przybiera ona coraz to nowe postaci, niekiedy budzące kontrowersję. Wykład zostanie podzielony na dwie części. W pierwszej zostanie omówiona problematyka wykorzystywania sztuki ludowej. Sztuka ta (np. pieśni, tańce, stroje, baśnie) tradycyjnie zaliczana jest do tzw. domeny publicznej, z której korzystać może każdy. Problem pojawia się wtedy, gdy współcześni artyści dokonują tego bez poszanowania wartości i tradycji, jakie związane są z dziełami ludowymi. Druga część wykładu poświęcona zostanie używaniu sztucznej inteligencji we współczesnej twórczości – kto w takim przypadku jest faktycznym twórcą? Artysta? Sztuczna inteligencja? A może jej programista?
Creative freedom is one of the most important human freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. In the era of remix culture, it takes on new forms, sometimes arousing controversy. The lecture will be divided into two parts. The first will discuss the issue of using folk art. This art (e.g. songs, dances, costumes, fairy tales) is traditionally considered part of the so-called public domain, which can be used by anyone. The problem arises when contemporary artists do this without respecting the values and traditions associated with folk works. The second part of the lecture will be devoted to the use of artificial intelligence in contemporary creativity – who is the actual creator in such a case? The artist? Artificial intelligence? Or maybe its programmer?
