Na naszym stanowisku uczestnicy będą mogli stworzyć własną symboliczną maskę, inspirując się antropologicznym spojrzeniem na rolę jednostki w społeczeństwie. W duchu koncepcji Ervinga Goffmana, traktującej życie społeczne jako teatr, zapraszamy do eksperymentu z tożsamością i społeczną rolą. Uczestnicy wcielą się w twórców masek, które będą odzwierciedleniem tego, jak postrzegają siebie – lub jak są postrzegani przez innych. To ćwiczenie to także eksperyment z „lustrem”: jak zmienia się nasz obraz siebie, gdy widzimy go przez pryzmat kultury, regionu, oczekiwań społecznych i presji norm? Stanowisko łączy zabawę z refleksją: tworzenie masek będzie punktem wyjścia do rozmów o regionalizmie, różnorodności ról społecznych, a także o tym, jak kultura nakłada na nas określone tożsamości.
Have you ever wondered what mask you wear every day? At our stand, participants will be able to create their own symbolic mask, inspired by the anthropological perspective on the role of the individual in society. In the spirit of Erving Goffman's concept of treating social life as theatre, we invite you to experiment with identity and social role. Participants will take on the role of creators of masks that will reflect how they perceive themselves – or how they are perceived by others. This exercise is also an experiment with a “mirror”: how does our self-image change when we see it through the prism of culture, region, social expectations and the pressure of norms? The stand combines fun with reflection: creating masks will be a starting point for conversations about regionalism, the diversity of social roles, and how culture imposes specific identities on us.
