Przedstawię organizację, zadania oraz strategię działalności polskiego wywiadu w Republice Weimarskiej oraz III Rzeszy. Omówię także wybrane efekty pracy kontrwywiadu. Wyeksponuję działalność wywiadowczą rotmistrza, a później majora Jerzego Sosnowskiego w Niemczech, którego agentki wykradały największe tajemnice Reichswehrministerium. Raporty kierownika berlińskiej placówki In3 zawierały wartościowe informacje dotyczące rozbudowy niemieckich sił zbrojnych i przygotowań do wojny. Placówka ta dostarczała władzom wojskowym cennych wiadomości o współpracy niemiecko-sowieckiej, niebezpiecznej dla Polski. Major J. The topic of the lecture will be Polish-German struggles on the secret front in the interwar period. I will present the organisation, tasks and strategy of Polish intelligence in the Weimar Republic and the Third Reich. I will also discuss selected effects of counterintelligence work. I will highlight the intelligence activities of Captain and later Major Jerzy Sosnowski in Germany, whose agents stole the greatest secrets of the Reichswehrministerium. The reports of the head of the Berlin In3 station contained valuable information on the expansion of the German armed forces and preparations for war. This facility provided the military authorities with valuable information about German-Soviet cooperation, which was dangerous for Poland. Major J. Sosnowski is an extraordinary figure in the history of Polish-German struggles on the secret front. His intelligence achievements allow him to be counted among the outstanding intelligence officers. The irony of fate was that his spectacular successes became the source of his failure and tragedy, as I will demonstrate during the lecture.
