Radio 357, created by former journalists of Polskie Radio Program III (Polish Radio Three), covered the fifth edition of Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE with media patronage. The radio show “Patronautyka” will be broadcast from the Festival premises.
On Sunday, 10 October, we will invite the Festival audience to Rawa Scienceville. You will also find there the stand of Radio 357, which is a mobile radio studio at the same time. From there, at 12 noon, Patrycjusz Wyżga will run a special edition of his radio show „Patronautyka”, dedicated to natural sciences and technological developments. Moreover, several reports will be broadcast from the Festival areas on Radio 357.
The information on launching Radio 357 was announced on 5 October 2020, and three months later, on 5 January 2021, the station began to broadcast regularly. The originators and founders are journalists who were associated with Polskie Radio Program 3 for many years, including Kuba Strzyczkowski, Marek Niedźwiecki, Piotr Stelmach, Marcin Łukawski, Krystian Hanke, Michał Olszański, Katarzyna Borowiecka, Katarzyna Pruchnicka and Ernest Zozuń. Prof. Katarzyna Kłosińska and Tomasz Rożek, PhD, ŚFN ambassadors, also appear on the radio.
Radio 357 does not broadcast adverts, and since the beginning it has been financed with voluntary contributions from patrons (radio listeners and companies) – currently almost 33,000 patrons support the radio station through Patronite.pl. Radio 357 is a podcast platform that enables access to almost 3,000 broadcasts and podcasts. Currently, this amounts to over 4,000 hours of audio content.
