Maksymilian Paczyński, a guest of the 6th KATOWICE Silesian Science Festival, may contribute to a real revolution on the world's traffic. His FATIK artificial intelligence project recognising microsleep episodes in drivers is a new chapter in the history of safety for all traffic participants. However, that is not all there is to know about this young and ambitious man.
Maksymilian Paczyński is also a finalist in the nationwide Intel AI4Youth programming competition. He is the only European to win the Intel AI Global Impact Festival international competition to create a project based on solving a real community-wide problem using machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Our guest is not indifferent to socio-political issues. Paczynski is a councillor on the Children and Youth Council of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Poland. As a speaker, he has internationally addressed topics related to technology, its ethics, and the future of a modern school. He has spoken at such events as the UN IGF, Intel Vision in the United States, and Volvo Talks.
He is passionate about all things related to data processing, analysis, and prediction.
