Over the last few weeks, you had the opportunity to send us recommendations for the people and initiatives that should be awarded with the POP Science 2022 award. We have received almost 40 nominations — thank you, we appreciate each and every one!
The POP Science competition aims to recognise — for the third time now — the most important activities promoting science. This is why we have asked you to suggest exceptional people and initiatives in these five categories:
1) Video Blog;
2) Blog or Website;
3) Radio Broadcast or Podcast;
4) Think Globally, Act Locally – Scientist and/or Lecturer from a University in the Śląskie Voivodeship;
5) Think Globally, Act Locally – Resident of the Śląskie Voivodeship.
Currently, the suggestions sent are being processed and their compliance with the competition rules is verified. Those which will receive a positive verification result will then be transferred to the Jury, which in turn will select the official nominees in the five categories. Once the nominees are selected, we will invite you to vote on the best nominees who will receive the POP Science 2022 award. Keep an ear out for news!
