ŚFN ambassadors at the 6th edition!

Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE ambassadors are associated with different disciplines of science and art, which they also actively communicate. Their support for the Festival in the form of participation or promotion of the event is particularly valuable.

The 6th edition of the Festival will be attended by 10 of our ambassadors! The guest of the event include:

Łukasz Lamża, PhD – natural philosopher and scientific journalist will host his own stage 'Reading Nature', as well as take part in meetings with audience at the Science Station and in the debate entitled 'Algorithms generating everything and the future of science and art';

Tomasz Rożek, PhD – physicist by education, scientific journalist by profession, the founder of 'Nauka – to lubię' (Science – I like it) foundation. During the Festival, he will host his own stage with various activities such as interview with Luca Parmitano, an European Space Agency astronaut and lecture on artificial intelligence;

Wiktor Niedzicki – one of the best known Polish science communicators. He will participate in an interview at the Science Station and give a lecture entitled 'History of Polish female scholars';

Jarosław Juszkiewicz – radio journalist, reader, best known as the voice of Polish Google Maps, collaborator of Planetarium - The Silesian Science Park Parku Sciences in Chorzów. He will take part in the lecture called 'What won’t NASA tell you?';

Prof. Katarzyna Kłosińska – Head of the Polish Language Council, employee of the Institute of Polish Language OF the University of Warsaw. She will participate in the meeting entitled 'Polish language on the radio';

Darwin Film Group – Marek Hucz and Jan Jurkowski, who run a popular YouTube channel, will talk to the audience during a meeting at the Science Station;

Łukasz Wilczyński – founder of Planet Partners and European Space Foundation, initiator and co-organiser of the European Rover Challenge. He will give a lecture on 'Space business 2050';

Jan Pomierny – creative producer, director and entrepreneur, founder of Science Now strategic design studio. He will take part in the inauguration of the Gaia Vari project;

Daniel Tammet – autistic savant with above-average arithmetic and linguistic skills. He will give a lecture on neurodiversity and talk to the audience at the Science Station;

David Price – outdoor scientist, writer, FameLab coach. The participants will be able to attend the Science Show.
