Frans Timmermans, a Dutch politician and diplomat, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, who heads the work on the European Green Deal, will be the guest of the 6th Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE!
We planned a meeting with our guest for Monday, 5 December at 2:00 p.m. in conference room No. 6. Frans Timmermans will meet young people and invite representatives of the world of science to a discussion. It will also be possible to ask questions. Frans Timmermans is responsible for the European Green Deal, which has implemented the goal of climate neutrality by 2050, and for the Fit for 55 package, which will help achieve the goal of reducing emissions by 55% by 2030. Frans Timmermans received the Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland (2006) and the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland (2014).
