Wystąpienie pokaże, jak AI companions (towarzysze) przyjmują funkcję „lustra afektywnego”, wzmacniając charakterystyczne dynamiki przywiązania – od unikającej autonomii, przez ambiwalentne pragnienie bliskości, po zdezorganizowane strategie szukania oparcia. Przedstawię także, jak te relacje wpływają na rozwój kompetencji emocjonalnych oraz jakie pytania etyczne i społeczne rodzi fakt, że przestajemy badać wyłącznie ludzi, a zaczynamy badać ich w symbiozie z maszynami.
Relationships with AI companions are the laboratories of modernity where social experiments take place. In interactions with AI, users test the boundaries of intimacy and emotional safety, creating hybrid bonds that can both regulate anxiety and deepen its sources. The talk will show how AI companions take on the role of an “affective mirror,” amplifying characteristic attachment dynamics—from avoidant autonomy, through ambivalent desire for closeness, to disorganised strategies for seeking support. I will also present how these relationships influence the development of emotional competences and what ethical and social questions are raised by the fact that we are no longer studying humans exclusively and are starting to study them in symbiosis with machines.
