A loss of indigenous pathways, which once guided our ancestors' relationship with Mother Earth, has had devastating consequences for the well-being of our planet and her people. How did we get to this point in our history and how might we, as practitioners, address the current crises of sustainability, loss of biodiversity, mental health, and wellbeing? Indigenous languages are verb-based, reflecting a respect for the living, sentient quality of all things on the planet. Changing the ways we speak and think about Nature influences our habits, thoughts, and actions. Similarly, moving our perspective of time from linearity to circularity and eternity helps us to be in harmony with Nature, and to create an ethically-based relationship with Mother Earth. Elizabeth will share the pathway of her ancestors, using the Celtic Wheel of the Year, to encourage you to walk and breathe Earth-Time on a journey towards a re-enchantment with Mother Earth and our more-than-human kin.
