Making your school a health promoting school: how to make it work (better) – in the digital age

[ACTIVITY IN ENGLISH]<br>According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) and UNESCO every school in the world should be a health promoting school. In Poland the Health Promoting School initiative is a well-established programme, many schools are involved. Maybe you are too. Health and education are closely linked, healthy children learn better, healthy teachers work better. Completing education leads to longer healthier years later in life. The UNESCO Chair Global Health & Education supports health promotion and education worldwide, with a particular emphasis on children and young people. The presentation will give you an update on where we are with health promoting schools globally, how you can get engaged as health promoting school, and the impact of digital learning on health and well-being.
