Podczas wykładu pokażemy, w jakich eksperymentach brały udział te sympatyczne futrzaki i dlaczego bez nich historia odkryć mogłaby wyglądać zupełnie inaczej.
Although we usually associate cats with the internet full of memes, videos, and feline celebrities, they have played a surprisingly important role in the history of science. They are the silent (though sometimes meowing) collaborators of scientists, participants in experiments, inspiration for discoveries, and heroes of research that changed the world. During the lecture, we will show what experiments these cute furry creatures were involved in and why without them the history of discovery could have been completely different.
