The Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE has already become part of the calendar of wintertime events in the capital of the Silesian Voivodeship. The fourth edition of ŚFN takes place on 25–27 January 2020 – two weeks later than one year ago. The University of Silesia in Katowice has been the author and leader of the project since the very beginning.

• 26 stycznia 2020 (niedziela) – w Międzynarodowym Centrum Kongresowym w Katowicach;
• 27 stycznia 2020 (poniedziałek) – w Międzynarodowym Centrum Kongresowym w Katowicach.
In preparation for the 4th Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE, we constantly look for the ways to develop our initiative and related ideas as fully as possible. This is why we invited people who have the biggest impact on the open minds of young people - headmasters and teachers from schools in Silesian Voivodeship - to become ŚFN Promoters!
The press conference announcing the 4th Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE was held on 22 November 2019 at the International Congress Centre in Katowice.
On Sunday 26th January 2020 and Monday 27th January 2020 the 4th Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE will move, like in the case of the previous two editions, to the International Congress Centre in Katowice. The audience of the Silesian Science Festival will see the main attractions and activities of the Festival in numerous locations of the Centre:

All applications to POP Science competition should have been submitted until 25 November 2019. The initiative which debuts during the 4th Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE is intended to promote and reward the activity of science communicators. Our idea enjoyed great interest: 48 applications were sent!
